Success-minded companies are moving into top gear for the 2016 version of the ever popular FSB Hertfordshire Business Awards.

Launched at Mercedes Benz Stevenage on Tuesday, February 9th the awards are this year being held against a backdrop of growing confidence in the strength of Hertfordshire’s economy.

“Hertfordshire is leading the way as the UK economy grows,” said Pam Charman, chairman of the Hertfordshire branch of the business group, the FSB.

“There will be plenty of success stories out there and we are sure companies and sole traders will respond to the opportunity offered by these awards in great numbers as they have done before.

“We must also thank our wide range of forward looking sponsors, without whom these awards simply would not happen.”

The headline sponsor this year is Clydesdale Bank. The competition is free to enter and open to all businesses based in Hertfordshire. They do not have to be an FSB (Federation of Small Businesses) member to enter but they must be sole traders or have fewer than 250 employees at the time of entering.

There are a range of categories, including exciting new ones, to enter online. The closing date for entries is April 22 with the Grand Final being held in June.
